Tony Curtis & Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager – contract position for a luxury, made in Canada, outerwear pop-up at STACKT Market, Toronto. The successful candidate will lead the seasonal pop-up for the duration of the Fall / Winter season, October 1 thru end December. This is a full-time, hourly contract position, requiring weekend availability. The initial contract term will be from Oct 1 to end of December, with the possibility to extend and grow into new areas of the organization. This is a hands-on, sales-driven role for someone who thrives on the retail floor, understands how to convert customer engagement into results, and is motivated by ambitious targets. You will lead by example—actively selling, developing client relationships, identifying revenue opportunities, and ensuring the store consistently delivers against its sales goals. As manager, you will set the standard for exceptional customer experience bringing to life our Canadian roots, product innovation, and commitment to high-quality outerwear, while maintaining a relentless focus on commercial performance.

Responsibilities: Sales & Commercial Performance
· Take ownership of achieving and exceeding weekly, monthly, and seasonal store sales targets
· Actively sell on the retail floor, engaging customers, understanding their needs, recommending products, and confidently closing sales
· Monitor key retail performance indicators, including sales, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, and traffic, using insights to identify opportunities and improve results
· Maintain a strong understanding of daily and weekly performance against targets and take proactive action when results are behind plan
· Maximize every customer interaction through thoughtful recommendations, cross-selling, upselling, and strong product knowledge
· Build and maintain a portfolio of loyal and high-value customers to generate repeat business and increase customer lifetime value
· Drive outbound clienteling efforts, including proactive outreach to past, prospective, and high-value customers
· Identify opportunities to increase store traffic and revenue through local outreach, events, partnerships, promotions, and other sales-driving initiatives
· Ensure promotions, product launches, and seasonal initiatives are executed with a clear focus on maximizing commercial results
Customer Experience & Clienteling:
· Deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable, personalized, and premium customer experience that reflects the brand’s positioning
· Build meaningful customer relationships that translate into repeat purchases, referrals, and long-term brand loyalty
· Act as a senior brand ambassador, confidently communicating the brand’s story, Canadian roots, product innovation, materials, fit, functionality, and commitment to high-quality outerwear
· Develop a strong understanding of individual customer preferences and purchase history to create relevant and personalized selling opportunities
· Follow up with customers after purchases and proactively reconnect around new collections, product availability, and relevant promotions
· Take ownership of customer inquiries and escalations, resolving issues with professionalism, sound judgment, and urgency
· Support customer service across email, phone, and customer service platforms, with an emphasis on converting inquiries into positive customer and sales outcomes
Store Performance & Operations:
· Take ownership of day-to-day store execution, ensuring the location is organized, commercially focused, and consistently ready for customers.
· Ensure visual merchandising and product presentation support key sales priorities and make it easy for customers to discover and purchase products.
· Maintain strong product availability on the sales floor through effective replenishment and inventory organization.
· Oversee opening and closing procedures, POS transactions, cash handling, inventory processes, and other operational requirements.
· Maintain accurate inventory and quickly identify stock gaps, high-performing products, and opportunities to maximize available inventory.
· Stay closely informed on new products, seasonal collections, promotions, inventory availability, and key brand initiatives.
· Provide senior leadership with clear visibility into sales performance, customer feedback, product trends, risks, and revenue opportunities
· Recommend and implement practical initiatives to improve sales productivity and overall store performance
· Take on additional commercial and operational responsibilities as the retail business continues to grow
Skills & Qualifications:

· 3+ years of progressive retail sales experience, ideally within premium apparel, outerwear, lifestyle, or another high-touch retail environment
· Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding individual and store sales targets
· Highly motivated by measurable results, with a strong understanding of retail KPIs and the behaviours that drive them
· Proven ability to close sales, increase transaction value, and convert customer interactions into revenue
· Strong clienteling skills with experience developing repeat business and long-term customer relationships
· Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable being accountable for store-level sales performance
· Confident and engaging communicator who can clearly articulate product features, fit, materials, functionality, and benefits
· Strong judgment and the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and act quickly without requiring significant oversight
· Highly organized, reliable, and capable of balancing active selling with the operational requirements of the store
· Experience with POS, CRM, inventory management, and customer service platforms such as Richpanel is considered an asset
· Flexible availability consistent with the needs of a retail environment, including evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal periods
