Tony Curtis & Associates Inc. has an immediate opening for the position of Operational Efficiency Manager for an established leading brand of apparel accessories selling wholesale to retail locations throughout Canada and the US.
To help maintain and grow their current high standards, our client is seeking an experienced, highly skilled operations manager with a sharp business mind and proven success in managing efficiencies of the organizational processes for maximum productivity.
The Operational Efficiency Manager will be responsible for overseeing purchasing, logistics and customer service/order entry, coupled with managing, coaching and motivating teams to achieve company goals, growth, and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to streamline distribution and supply chain operations.
· Lead and mentor team members in hands-on collaborative fashion
· Develop and execute strategies that align with short- and long-term company objectives.
· Analyze internal operations and identify opportunities to increase efficiencies and quality. Directly lead operations to include production planning, procurement planning, production, maintenance, facilities, warehousing, logistics, safety and operations human resources.
· Plan for future company growth by forecasting required changes to operations and infrastructure to ensure company can increase capacity in a productive manner.
· Accountability for inventory management and accuracy.
· Identify and mitigate potential risks and operational challenges that may impact production or company success.
· Develop supply chain KPIs, reports, and business processes/cadences to improve upon current practices and seek continuous improvements.
· Oversee, lead, develop and manage the daily operational processes in purchasing, logistics, and customer service/order entry departments.
· Purchasing, logistics and customer service/order entry departmental oversight.
· Work directly with our customer service/order entry team to ensure on-time and accurate processing of customer orders through both EDI and non-EDI. Knowledge of EDI orders is a must.
· Regular communication with our 3rd party warehouse to help co-ordinate on-time customer shipments as well as timely receipt of incoming shipments and discuss space limitations.
· Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operational processes.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and safety.
· Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
· Cross collaboration with Sales and Finance departments to align operations with company goals.
· Provide regular updates to senior management on operations performance and objectives.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, and or 10 plus years’ experience in a similar role.
· NetSuite knowledge is a huge plus.
· Proven experience in operations management in the wholesale to retail store industry.
· Experience in customer service management and oversight.
· Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
· Understanding of customer EDI orders.
· Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
· Proven experience in Process Optimization
· Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
