Tony Curtis & Associates Inc. is actively seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager/HR Coordinator Partner to oversee daily office operations while managing core human resources functions for a top-tier leading fashion accessories brand. This dual-role position is responsible for creating an efficient workplace environment, supporting employees, and ensuring HR processes run smoothly and in compliance with company policies and employment regulations. The successful candidate will be adept at building strong and trusting relationships while balancing multiple projects within our growing organization. Key Responsibilities
Office Management
Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative procedures
Manage office supplies, equipment, vendors, and facilities coordination
Coordinate meetings, events, and company functions
Maintain office policies and procedures
Liaise with outside suppliers, agencies as required
Plan and execute travel & accommodation arrangements
Monitor office budget and approve invoices/expenses
Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related inquiries
Ensure a professional, organized, and productive work environment
Special projects as assigned
HR Coordination
Work with management to manage talent acquisition process to fulfill recruitment needs, including job postings and coordinating interviews
Assist with development and maintenance of Job Descriptions
Experience with onboarding processes, including new hire orientation
Experience with offboarding processes: notifying resignations to appropriate teams, conducting exit interviews
Coordinate HR related policies/procedures, employee handbook, promote positive employee relations
HR administrative duties including but not limited to drafting of employment letters
Contribute to the evaluation & development of HR strategy and performance in cooperation with management team
Maintain employee records
Payroll coordination and benefits enrollment
Ensure compliance with federal and provincial labor laws
Support performance management and employee development processes
Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality
Ensure any and all activities meet with organizational requirements for quality management, health & safety, environmental policies and general duty of care
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ minimum years of experience in office management, HR administration, or a similar dual role
Strong knowledge of HR practices
Knowledge of ESA and other employment legislation and intermediate knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act
CPHR or other HR related designations are a strong asset
Computer literate: proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Knowledge of an HRIS/payroll systems is an asset
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of discretion and confidentiality with respect to hiring/termination, employee resolution
Preferred:
CPHR or other HR related designation preferred
Experience in a fashion related work environment – design/import/export distributing across Canada and the US
