The Role:
Reporting to the head of product development, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and completion of the current season’s collection, from conception to preproduction. Working closely with the designers, product development coordinators and the rest of the product development team, you will ensure timelines are met at all stages of development.
You Will:
· Order and track fabrics and notions for each development season
· Track status of all styles, domestic & offshore, until collection deadlines
· Track sample status
· Collect yields
· Collect production sign offs
· Assist with creating & updating technical sketches needed for tech packs
· Update tech packs throughout the development season
· Coordinating fittings
You Have:
· 5+ years of experience in product development
o Creating tech packs, knowledge of woven/tailored garments, basic sewing skills
· College Degree or Diploma in fashion design
· Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
· Experience with Excel, and ERP systems
· Extremely organized, strong attention to detail, positive attitude, ability to work closely and collaborate with others
