Job Description

• Responsible for executing development techpacks for high end lines from designers hand drawn sketches or inspiration/ reference photos.
• Measure all fit samples that come in and prep them to be fit with our designer
• Conduct fit sessions with live model to provide the proper fitting comments to overseas vendors
• Communicate with overseas vendors on daily basis to ensure timelines are being met
• Organizing in season design board to ensure all dates are being met and keep a good record of timeline to ensure all is being executed according to the calendar

• Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design
• 3-5 years’ experience in technical development/ production, 1-2 years of sweater knit experience is preferred
• Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Illustrator. Photoshop is an asset
• Have understanding of garment construction especially in women’s wear
• Strong knowledge of overseas garment industry and wholesale production routines
• Must communicate well in written and verbal form on a technical level to ensure designs are properly executed
• Knowledge of fitting approvals, maintain accurate and detailed information of style documentation
• Advanced ability to draw/sketch using Adobe Illustrator.
• Must be organized and take direction well, be strong in communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work independently and in a team setting
