The Opportunity: Creative Project Coordinator - Custom Sales Team
Salary: 45-47K + Benefits
Location: Keele and Lawrence
Tony Curtis & Associates seeking a Creative Project Coordinator and dynamic self-starter with exceptional trend-spotting and fashion knowledge for one of our top clients. If you have the creative talent to join a custom sales team specializing in private label wardrobe essentials with a focus on lounge wear, head fear, hosiery and health and beauty then we want to hear from you.
This is a new position as part of team expansion, and the ideal candidate will have mastery in Adobe Creative Suite and will work closely with Team Leaders bringing new ideas to collections and presentations.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation of trend mood boards for each season tailored to each client
Market research - assist with gathering information from social media, online publications and comp shopping
Assist in the curation of season assortments
Prep for meetings
Assist in the sample and packaging approval process alongside QC and packaging teams
Communicate with buyers regarding samples and packaging
Organize samples and swatches pre and post season
Collaborate with sourcing for new product development
Collaborate with design for presentations
Skills and experience:
· 3 years’ experience in trend forecasting and market research
· Experience working with apparel, hair, health & beauty accessories is an asset
· Familiarity with the retail landscape
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Self-motivated with excellent organization and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure
