Salary : $35-38k
Description :

·Communicate all product purchases, maker details, tech pack info, critical path requirements etc with merchandising team.
·Efficiently prepare accurate development packages, advise vendors all audits / testing requirements, approval procedure etc (when applicable) for fast and accurate price quotation.
·Work with Sourcing Coordinator to insure tech packs are complete and accurate before passing to merchandising team.
·Assist Sourcing Coordinator in evaluating price quotes from suppliers for their competitiveness and suitability for acceptance.
·Prepare cost summaries.
·Assist Sourcing Coordinator to insure all aspects of critical path are maintained.
.Communicate any in-season modifications to product purchases to merchandising team.
·Use previous seasons buying data and current fashion trends to assist in building an effective seasonal sales budget.
·Work in conjunction with sales team in advance of each season to identify key styles, fabrics, technologies and changes to fit/spec by customer/brand.
·Communicate the above needs to our supplier matrix in advance of the selling season for the purpose of gathering depth of selection for selling season ahead.
·Organize and maintain style reference/ number log, fabric library, sample inventory.



Skills :

Normal courtesy, tact and diplomacy are required in dealing with others in every day working relationships.
·Good communication skills, an ability to discuss business matters with all levels of our team, retail partners’ management group and supplier matrix.
·Good garment production and product development background in order to properly communicate with our suppliers on any new programs’ developments.
·Advance computer skills needed to modify current data gathering systems, analyze and predict sales trends/ needs.
·Keyboarding, problem solving, multitasking and ability to work independently, as well as within a team.
·Minimum High School Graduation or equivalent plus specialized courses such as Garment Production, Fashion Design or equivalent level of education.
·More than 2 years of experience in similar capacity.
