Description :

The Product Developer Graphic Developer role is to implement a comprehensive product line by focusing on styling, quality, packaging, the accessory brand. They ensure the execution of the product from sample development through to production as determined by the Creative Merchandiser & Merchandise Manager.


? Develop product based on technical package and Creative Merchandiser’s direction
? Oversee & ensure proper execution of product from technical package to pre-production
? Follow up and comment on sample receipt, lab dips, fabrics & trimming/strike offs, etc. with approval of Creative Merchandiser
? Manage the library of style files
? Develop packaging, seasonal prints (including AOPs), patterns, logos and graphics following the brand direction
? Inititate new and brand appropriate ideas for prints, patterns, logos and graphics
? Re-colour patterns from original art when required
? Set up & maintain print/pattern & graphic library
? Standardize art & graphic, packaging technical information formats

? Liaise and follow up with vendors on product requirements and development
? Communicate & coordinate with Buyers on any product information

? Adhere to apparel calendar timelines to ensure all product deadlines are achieved
? Special projects as determined by the Merchandise Manager
? Assist in the compilation of images required for presentations, story boards, trend alerts
? Create colour boards with swatches
? Coordinate samples as required
? Ongoing awareness of competitive markets

Skills :


Strong product development skills
Knowledge of garment construction & factory development & production – both domestic & import
Knowledge of fabric & yarn construction print, embroidery, appliqué finishes and techniques, create

? Excellent time management & project skills
? Excellent communication skills
? Expert in CAD software i.e. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (must have experience working on a MAC)
? Knowledge of print techniques, embroidery & printing applications
? Ability to produce accurate detailed camera ready artwork
? Must work well in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
? Detail oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
? Flexible to work overtime when required
