The Opportunity: Digital Pattern Maker

Flawlessly tailored collections feature nostalgic textiles utilizing traditional menswear tailoring techniques to create a decidedly feminine interpretation.
The Pattern Maker position is responsible for digitizing, pattern making, grading and marker making of high end ladies structured suiting patterns using the PAD System. This position reports to the Head of Product Development.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with PAD systems as well as experience with woven fabrics/garments.
Key Responsibilities:
New development & pattern adjustments for new collections
Working closely with designers, product development & production team
Develop a good understanding of fabric characteristics, patterns and design features
Grading
Creating spec sheets and pattern lists for offshore production
Production marker making
Qualifications, Experience and Required Skills:
2+ years of experience in pattern making, grading and marker making using PAD
College Degree or Diploma in apparel design and manufacturing
Knowledge of pattern making, specifically woven garments and tailored blazers
Sewing an asset
Ability to learn quickly, work independently, multi-task,
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
