Our client is advancing design for Headwear and Apparel for the Sports realm (Soccer), is looking for a candidate with the exposure to the beautiful game or a strong connection to athletic leisure apparel, combined with the ability to design Hats and Accessories, utilizing an array to creative skills to define a line and distinguish it from other items on the market. The ability to develop related apparel is a skill set to be utilized going forward.
Integral role to drive constant and consistent flow of innovative within trend products and product lines to ensure a fresh and everchanging product assortment ahead of our competition.
• Responsible and initiator for design and silhouette development not only for seasonal programs but as well as consistent flow of new product ideas and capsule suggestions on a regular or weekly basis.
• Be a lead voice and initiator of brand and branding design initiatives to improve vision and constant evolvement of Collection. Exceptional skills on Adobe CS is a requirement.
• On top of market trends and future trends to ensure forward looking product line.
• Build, manages and maintains the style matrix and fit charts for product lines as well as ensuring compliance
• Build all technical specifications for product in development phases
• Create development and measurement specs
• Establish measurement standards and ensure constant compliance on ALL products.
• Conduct fit research and design approval internally and externally
• Research history and ensure constant consistency of product
• Provide recommendations to Sourcing and Product Management teams to ensure consistency of product assortment.
• Maintain physical sample library of approved silhouettes
• Manage and maintain all silhouette data in Product Lifecycle Management
• Able to evaluate fit and issue approval based on established standards
• Ensure the correct recommendations are made for fit and construction issues
• Maintain factory or vendor approvals on a Global Silhouette Matrix
• Manage communication, interactions and needs of various levels of hierarchy within the global teams, departments and production team
• Communicate product details to Design, Sourcing, Product Management, Quality to ensure accuracy and brand integrity through the full lifecycle of the product
• Plan and track developments to ensure timely completion, based on pre-determined timeline between Sourcing, Design and/or Product Management
• Lead projects that support global initiatives
• Keeps all sensitive matters confidential
