Job Description

Manage & supply, design & product requirements for major private label retail accounts.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Design/ Development:
- provide appropriate design concepts &/or planograms fulfilling
retailer briefs, with a focus in Ladies tops (AOP)
- presentation drawings of design concepts & development to clients.
- design specification/ technical drawings.
- packaging design concepts & development.
- ideas/concepts for new product development for general sales
- design/concepts for Mass Market clients
- regular store checks/ sample shopping relevant to assigned accounts.
- keeping abreast of the latest global trends & forecast within the apparel/textile industry.
Product Production:
- product approvals of colour & quality for both customer & in-house programs.
- hangtag, packaging approvals for colour, dye lines, & quality control.
- responsible for organization all pre-production & production samples

Requirements:
- design degree Apparel/Graphics in a related field
- knowledge of textiles print design and technical Specifications is preferrable
- advanced computer skills: illustrator CS & Adobe Photoshop CS.
- intermediate computer skills required: Microsoft excel, Power Point & MS Word.
- excellent communication skills required
- must have ability to self-motivate & take initiative

- photography skills are an asset

- must be able to magage multiple deadlines
