Tony Curtis & Associates is seeking a detail oriented, motivated self-starter for one of our top clients. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in the Canadian Division of a multinational home textiles corporation. You will be the key liaison between Senior Management and Customer Buying Staff. Your responsibilities will include servicing the customer, maintaining the in-stock % at acceptable levels and order fill rate at 100%. Job Duties:

Key contact between senior management, distribution centre, and the customer buying team.
Prepare the sales forecast utilizing various information including POS data, customer forecasts, YOY comparison, promotional plans, and annual estimates, and enter the forecast into Magic.
Highlight risks and opportunities in the forecast and effectively communicate and present these findings to internal teams.
Plan the inventory procurement and manage stock levels for both company and the customer.
Submit purchasing requirements to senior management, key approved quantities into Magic.
Analyze and report the Point of Sale data to the customer and internal decision makers.
Work closely with the customer on day-to-day orders and shipping cycle including coordination with customer’s carrier to ensure all details are correct.
Attend SOP meetings and communicate production needs with our factory.
Co-ordinate sample orders for ad photos, layout room set-ups and Vendor Fairs.
Co-ordinate any returns of damaged product or otherwise from stores. Prepare all necessary paperwork.
Prepare price sheets for buying office and company file.
Keep all pertinent documents filed and well organized.
Handle customer complaints and/or inquires directly related to customer account.
Issue new product specs sheets, obtaining UPC labels and all pertinent details, i.e., packs/pricing, etc. This also involves entering retail prices, category numbers and annual forecast by item.
Organize monthly planning review meetings with customer replenishment team.

Scope of Responsibilities: (Assets affected, authority to act, etc.)

Authority to initiate order release instructions to company distribution centre.

Responsible for inventory purchase levels related to the customer account.

Responsible for complete order management cycle with customer.

Primary contact with customer regarding service and supply problems.


Specifications:

Industry related post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.

5 Years of experience

Strong communication skills, written and oral.

Exceptional MS Office skills, particularly Excel advanced functions.

Exposure supplying to large Canadian retailers.

Ability to prioritize under pressure.

Ability to take the initiative and resolve complex account issues.
